Have you ever been to a port during your contract and only had 2 or 3 hours to run ashore but not known where to go or what to do? Well now you can jump online, come to www.floatmates.com and see what other crew members have done in that port. Once you have registered go to “ iGo-ASHORE ” section, here you can add places of interest or search what other users have added. You can also chat to friends and family with our “ INSTANT MESSENGER ” which is located on the top of any page in our site. Another way if you see one of you friends online you can head over to their profile and click on “ Instant Message ” in the CONTACT PANEL One tip, your browser might have the POPUP blocker enabled, you should disable it for floatmates.com, if someone wants to chat to you, a window will popup asking you to accept, reject or block the user.
